About APOCB

APOCB was founded in Canada, August 1988, and the first president was Zhen Yao. The objectives of APOCB are the advancement of research and education in the area of Cell Biology. The APOCB dedicate to promote communication and interaction among cell biologists in the Asian Pacific region and contribute to the advancement of cell biology in all of its aspects. APOCB organize regular meetings. The APOCB Congress will be held every four years and joined by about 300 delegates. The past seven congress meetings were held in Shanghai, Sydney, Osaka, Taipei, Beijing, Manila, Singapore, Hyderabad, and Taipei.
