6th INTERNATIONAL and 14th ANNUAL MEETING of the PHILIPPINE SOCIETY FOR CELL BIOLOGY (PSCB)

Cellular Ecology: An Integrated Approach to Understanding the Interplay between Cells and their Environment

The conference will focus on the study of interactions between cells and their environment and how these affect biological systems. It brings together leading researchers and experts in the field to discuss the latest developments and future directions in cellular ecology research.

Topics for discussions include:

  • Mechanisms of cellular adaptation to environmental stress
  • The role of cell signaling in environmental adaptation
  • The interaction between cells and the microbiome
  • The effect of environmental toxins on cellular function
  • The influence of environmental factors on cell development and differentiation
  • Evolutionary perspectives on the interactions between cells and their environment
  • The use of systems biology approaches to understand complex ecological systems

The conference will feature presentations, panel discussions, and poster sessions, providing attendees with the opportunity to engage with experts, share their own research, and collaborate on research projects. Attendees will gain a better understanding of the latest findings in cellular ecology and a clear sense of the challenges and opportunities in this exciting field.

This will be the first PSCB conference to be held outside of Metro Manila. Participants will get to experience the beautiful City of Baguio, a smart city and a center of teaching and learning.
